Special notice, February 2015
Fianco a Fianco will not be processing new orders until mid-April. If you’d like to place an order in the spring (or have questions about my whereabouts!), please send a note.
Note: To order more than one variety, click on the “Add to Cart” button for your first selection, then on the PayPal page, click on “Continue Shopping” (bottom left). Once you have made all your selections, they will be totaled for one simple checkout process. If you experience any issues with the PayPal page not loading properly, please contact us so that we may take your order directly.
Sending a gift? Please use the “Gift Option ” or “Notes to the Seller” field to alert us and include the text of your gift note.

Belato $8

Goats are known for their less than discerning palates. Yet even they would agree that their milk makes a superior treat. Belato combines goat cheese, cajeta (goat’s milk dulce de leche), and lavender, and calls out for your favorite bubbly.
Bag of 1 dozen. Ingredients: All-purpose flour, butter, cheese (goat), lavender, cajeta (goat milk, sugar, glucose), salt, baking powder.

Bruno $8
Dried Mission figs, Mascarpone, molasses! Now say that three times fast! Better yet, nibble three of them with your favorite Pinot Noir.
Bag of 1 dozen. Ingredients: All-purpose flour, butter, sugar, cheese (Mascarpone), dried Mission figs, molasses, salt, baking powder.

Cherry Cheddar Cinnamon $8
A return home to classic American flavors, the cinnamon adds a new twist to the cherry–cheddar pairing. Build upon the cherry notes by sampling with a full-bodied, berried wine—perhaps your favorite Cabernet Sauvignon.

Gouda Bene $8

This combination—smoked gouda, pistachios, and apple butter—begs for a warm fire. Make a hot toddy, wrap yourself in flannel, and bask in the cozy, from mouth to belly. Also our best cookie for pairing with beer.
Bag of 1 dozen. Ingredients: All-purpose flour, butter, light brown sugar, cheese (smoked Gouda), apple butter, pistachios, salt, baking powder.

Monte Bianco $8
The light shades and crisp taste of Gorgonzola, honey, and hazelnut are reminiscent of majestic Monte Bianco jutting its snowy peaks through Europe’s skies. The luscious honey balances the ‘zola’s stinky sharpness, and the hazelnuts serve to bridge the flavor gap between them. Try this one with a piping hot mug of tea or apple cider. (I won’t be offended if you crumble them into pieces for a unique pie or cheesecake crust!)

Biscottini al pesto $8
The building blocks of true genovese pesto—basil, traditional cheeses, extra-virgin olive oil, and pinoli nuts— intertwine on the palate with a sweet cookie crunch, culminating in the perfect, sharp blend of tangy–sweet indulgence. Side by side, fianco a fianco, is the way these cookies are meant to be enjoyed. Pair them with your favorite white wine (might I suggest a lovely Vermentino?), before- or after-dinner cocktail, espresso, or tea. They make a lovely appetizer or a fine addition to a dessert course—on a cheese platter or atop your favorite gelato (try olive oil or something lemony).

Fetta di ‘Lupo $8
Dried cantaloupe bursts forth from subtle feta while almond slivers stealthily stud this foundation. Try it with a Riesling and be surprised as the flavor sneaks up on you…kind of like a wolf.

Kiwembert $8

While our flavors are usually well-matched trios, there’s no need to weigh down dried kiwi and Camembert with a third wheel. This creamy–tart duo calls out for Sauvignon Blanc—from either side of the Equator.
Bag of 1 dozen. Ingredients: All-purpose flour, butter, sugar, cheese (Camembert), dried kiwis, salt, baking powder.

Napoli $8
Inspired by the warm flavors of the Amalfi Coast and its signature city, Napoli combines espresso, mozzarella, and the external (zest) and internal (juice) zing of lemon. A good introduction to our sweet–savory combinations, try it with a latte or regular cup of coffee with several spoonfuls of milk swirled in—fianco a fianco, the espresso will bloom.

Parigi $8
Nothing says indulgence quite like marrons glacé—candied chestnuts long associated with France yet actually birthed in the area of northern Italy ruled for many years by the House of Savoy. Swirled into a mixture of dark chocolate and Brie and best paired with a profound red wine, you’ll be saying “ooh la la” all evening long.
Bag of 1 dozen. Ingredients: All-purpose flour, butter, sugar, chocolate morsels (70% cacao), cheese (Brie), marrons glacés (chestnuts, sugar, glucose syrup from grain, humidifier: sorbitol from grain, salt, preservatives: potassium sorbate, sulphur anidrid, flavors), salt, baking powder.

Shipping policy: All of Fianco a Fianco’s cookies are handcrafted in small batches. Every effort is made to ship orders on the day of their receipt, Monday-Friday (cut-off time 4 p.m. EST). Orders of 1-4 bags are sent First Class or Priority Mail via USPS; larger orders may be shipped by FedEx Ground Home Delivery (every effort is made to ship at the lowest possible price). Should you require expedited shipping, please contact us so arrangements can be made. Please note that as of January 29, 2014, shipping prices have been raised to better reflect the actual cost of shipping the cookies. Fianco a Fianco partially subsidized transport fees on smaller orders but unfortunately can no longer do so. If there is ever a large discrepancy between the price paid for shipping and the actual postage fees, whenever possible, Fianco a Fianco will refund the difference to the customer. Your biscotini has affected our family. When it is in the house we can’t seem to practice moderation and we keep watch to make sure no one devours more than their fair share. We LOVE Fianco a Fianco!
